David Eghbali

David Eghbali is an American success story.

At the age of 3, his parents escaped the revolution in Iran and risked everything to bring their family to safety. They came to California with David, his younger brother, Steven, and little else. Starting over wasn’t easy, but his parents instilled in him the values of sacrifice and hard work. From an early age, David was motivated to always do his best and be the best.

As a child and teen, David excelled in basketball. His hoop skills in high school helped his Varsity Basketball team get to the Division VA State Semifinals. Basketball taught him discipline and made him an excellent team player. He continues to play basketball and is a huge Los Angeles Lakers fan. The skills he learned from basketball carry through into his professional life.

As a freshman at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), David thought he would become a doctor. But while working on his premed coursework, he decided that his passion was in finance. David graduated as a double major in biology and business-economics.

After graduation, David decided to go into the mortgage industry. He assists a variety of professionals and business owners with their financial decision making. In addition, his premed background makes him a natural for working with physicians. During the last ten years, David worked for two big banks and achieved many milestones in his career. For example, he funded more than $1 billion in residential loans, which earned him the “President’s Club” distinction 4 times because he was one of the top 1% of loan producers nationwide at a large national bank.
