David Eghbali Leadership Tips Part 1

David Eghbali High Performance Leadership Tips Part One

I think if you were to ask David Eghbali if great leaders are born or bred, he’d tell you “both.” Good leadership qualities aren’t just about natural traits a person brings to the table, they are also about learning behaviors that make that person someone that inspires people to follow them. David Eghbali pinpoints 10 different traits that have made him successful, and that can be emulated to make others successful too. Even if I haven’t been blessed with these traits, they are easy enough to start cultivating in my life today. They are:

#NakedHonesty
David Eghbali believes in transparency and honesty because it builds good relationships. Forbes lists honesty as a primary trait of exceptional leaders, but that honesty has to extend past our employees to our customers as well. People need to trust their leaders, and being honest with me and others is one way to set the standard for how I expect others to behave, whether they are part of my team or a customer.

#ClearCommunication
Without clear communication, projects get derailed and negotiations go awry. David Eghbali preaches that clear communication is essential in any good business environment. Business2Commuity.com explains how now it’s important for leaders to communicate in many different ways, whether it is to deliver bad news to employees or stockholders or to elucidate a new company vision to stockholders. It can require some tact and empathy too. It’s also important in making sure everyone knows what their part is in any business dealing.

#BalancedEgo
In the past, leaders led by pure force of will and their status in a chain of authority. However, David Eghbali understands that this is an outdated view of leadership that no longer holds as much importance in a global marketplace, where workers, customers, stockholders, and divisions are spread so far apart. Instead of forcing someone to comply with company edicts, it’s more important to influence people to take the actions you want them to take, without being dominated or pulling rank. This can help grow a leader’s networking connections and expand their influence to other spheres as well. A leader that has a balanced ego will also exhibit traits like magnanimity, humility, and a sense of humor, according to Comparebusinessproducts.com.

#PositiveAttitude
I know I hate working with “Negative Nancies” and so does David Eghbali. Having a positive attitude inspires confidence in team leaders and makes the work environment more pleasant. Clients who come to Davide Eghbali can expect that positive attitude to shine through, which helps to push past challenges without losing confidence.

#IntuitiveCreativity
Natural born leaders make a path where there was none, helping to solve the obstacles that leave others falling behind. This ability to find new ways to do things that are effective is a hallmark of leaders, according to David Eghbali. It’s a cross between a natural business instinct, which can be labeled “intuition,” and a creative bent that helps people do business in new and innovative ways.

#UnbridledDiscipline
A discipline that never stops until the job is done is what makes exceptional leaders. When someone has unbridled discipline, it comes off as a passion for their work. That enthusiasm, David Eghbali says, helps to motivate others to their best performance too. Enthusiasm is contagious and can help others work hard, even surprising themselves at how much they can get done.

#DriveToSucceed
David Eghbali admits that “Knowledge, relationships, and drive” are what help him succeed as a leader in the financial industry. Without a drive to succeed, people don’t have any clear ambitions and can waste lots of time before they accomplish anything. A drive to succeed is essential to have that self-motivation necessary that is willing to create a new path where there previously was none and still get the job done.

#UniqueVision
Leaders like Bill Gates, who revolutionized the world by introducing Microsoft applications, and Steve Jobs, who made Apple a household name, had unique visions for the world. They may even have seemed like impossible dreams. Yet, they knew they also had the knowledge, relationships, and drive to make it happen, just like David Eghbali. It helps me to remember that I can dream big and that my ideas, though they may be different from the norm, may be the next thing to revolutionize the world, and it’s part of my job as a leader to communicate that new reality to another so that they join in too.

In Conclusion
it’s easy to see that all great leaders have many great traits in common. They can be honest to the point of vulnerability. They have a unique vision for their companies and the world. Yet, continue to clearly communicate their ideas and information clearly, and in a way that is both humble and magnanimous. They push past obstacles using an intuitive creatity, a positive attitude, and an unbridled discipline. It’s that drive to succeed that eventually inspires and motivates others and gets the job done.

Knowing this, I wondered: If you aren’t born with these traits does it mean you can never be a great leader? Luckily, the answer is “no.” Managers can learn to rev up their performance by adopting behaviors that lead to instilling these traits in them from hence forward. In Part II, find out what behaviors high performance leaders use to end up instilling the same high performance traits that are hallmarks of very good leaders.
